Booking Terms and Conditions
Decorating
You’re welcome to arrive early to decorate the room if there is no previous booking. We can only advise this the day prior to your booking. Should you require guaranteed earlier access, there may be an additional charge. Alternatively, we are happy to decorate the room on your behalf during setup. We do not allow table confetti or any decorations stuck to walls. Any damage caused to any part of décor may be liable to damage costs.
Unmanned Functions
We appreciate some functions may require privacy. If you’re hosting an event without a dedicated team, you can contact a member of the team via 1170 on the internal phone. This will call the team in the pub who will be able to assist you.
Payment
Bills cannot be transferred from The Studio to The High Field and vice versa. Payment for functions in The Studio must be paid for separately, unless you are staying with us at The Town House – Studio bills can be transferred to Town House room bills. Bills must be settled on the day of the event and cannot be carried over to a later date.
Deposits & Pre-payments
For exclusive hire on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Bank Holidays and other key dates, card details are required at confirmation of your booking. A deposit of £500 will then be required 28 days prior to your event and can be made via card or BACs transfer. Please see clause 8 for our cancellation policy.
Room Damage
By agreeing to these Ts&Cs, we reserve the right to authorise a charge to your payment card, or withhold part or full payment of your deposit to put right any damage caused during your event. This may also cover any specialist cleaning or items removed from the room. Deposit payment may also cover any additional charges to make up the minimum spend. A full invoice will be provided of any additional charges occurred.
Parking
The Studio has no parking, but guests can use the pay & display car park located just next door to The High Field. Guests who are staying at The Town House will find a purple parking permit in your room to display in your car during your stay. If you are arriving prior to check in, please let us know so we can arrange a pass for you. Free parking is available on both sides of the road after 6pm weekdays and all weekend.
Smoking
The Studio is entirely smoke-free. Smokers should use The Yard just outside the front of the building. To restore clean air, there will be £200 charge to the booker should anyone smoke inside.
Cancellation Policy
For exclusive events on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, cancellation must be given in writing 14 days prior to your event for full deposit refund. Should you wish to cancel within 14 days of your event, your £500 deposit will be withheld or charged to your card. Please note other dates such as New Year’s Eve may also incur deposit payments.

Making Life Peachy
Minimum Spend
We do not charge room hire, however events with exclusive use on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays incur a minimum spend charge. The minimum spend on your date is outlined on your enquiry follow up email. Please note other dates such as New Year’s Eve may also incur deposit payments.
Pre -orders
All food and drink pre orders must be provided 14 days prior to your event. We endevour to cater for dietary requirements, let us know on your pre order. Unfortunately we cannot cater for a Halal menu.
Outside Catering & Drinks
We pride ourselves on serving the good stuff and unfortunately do not allow outside caterers to provide food to events held with us. Similarly we believe our drink range offers choice and variety, but if there is a specific wine or champagne you wish to bring to your event talk to us about corkage.
Event Use
We are very flexible and happy to accommodate bespoke events. We welcome live music, DJ and entertainment, do let us know in advance of any outside suppliers you are using. We do not have a preferred supplier list.
High Chair
We have limited high chairs available – should you require a high chair for your event, please let us know on confirmation of booking.
Opening Hours
The Studio can be booked from 7am with prior arrangement. Our licensing hours are 11am-00:00 Sunday – Wednesday and 11am-01:00 Thursday-Saturday. Should you wish to have the bar open until this time, this must be arranged in advance.
Music
Guests are welcome to play their own music through our system, however we reserve the right to control the volume. Music can be played via an auxiliary cable connected direct to our music system.
Maximum Capacity
For seated events we can comfortably accommodate 50 guests. For standing drinks and buffet events our capacity is 80.
Fire Safety
In the event of a fire please vacate the building at the nearest exit. Exits are downstairs and out the front of the building, and down the exterior stairs onto the terrace. Do not tackle a fire, and raise the alarm in the event of finding a fire.
Time In Room
Please respect your time allocation should this apply to your booking to ensure any booking following yours gains access at their agreed time. Please refer to your boking confirmation for further details.
Service Charge
A 10% service is added to all Studio bookings.
